Knowing God, through Christ, is life; and it’s a life that will never
end!
To meditate/pray upon
John 17:3 “Now this is eternal life: that
they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent”.
John 14:6 ‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me”’.
You’ve heard the saying, ‘it’s not what you know it’s who you know’.
Life is dramatically affected, for good or bad, by the people we know.
Motivational speaker Jim Rohn said,
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
If it’s an axiom that that people change us, how much more if one knows
God! If you know God, you have eternal life! You can know peace and joy in this
life and, perfectly, after physical death.
This eternal life comes to us through faith in Christ. But it’s a
relationship to be entered into and enjoyed today. Let God’s Spirit, through
His word, through His people, enthuse you with zest and hope in life.
Don’t live miserably whilst waiting to die! You can walk in the joy of
eternal life today!
