“For this reason, ever since I heard
about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I
have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.”

Not stopped giving thanks or not
stopped being bitter, hateful, cynical, fearful, jealous?
Which best describes you and me?
It’s too easy, and the devil
loves it, when we ‘bite and devour one another’.
Today, let’s see how many things
and people we can thank God for. Even in the difficult things, what can we
thank God for?
Paul says,
‘Rejoice always, pray continually, give
thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.’
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Prayer
Spend 5 minutes giving thanks for God's salvation in Christ, for all the various
people in your life. Also, give thanks for God's gift of our building in Werter
Road, for the builders, the architects, for all the people who have and will
give so generously.
