‘Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing
in Christ…’ (Ephesians 1:3)
As we begin this MONTH OF PRAYER AND GIVING for our building project
let’s remember the great favour and generosity of our God.
Imagine if we truly believed that God had given the very best for us- He
has! He has given His Son in order to save us and bring us into ‘every
spiritual blessing’.
Let’s begin this month with praise to our great God and Father. Praise
and thanksgiving will inevitably lead to greater expectation in prayer.
Things you could thank God for:
- Your salvation in Christ.
- Your family, friends, loved ones.
- Instances of past provision and answered prayer.
- That God provides all of your needs. (See Rom. 8:32)
- That God will provide all that we need to get this building project completed.
- Read and thank God for the promise that He makes in Philippians 4:19.
